Lawyers, Congmen conduct mock court

Vizianagaram: The mock court that was conducted by Congress party activists and lawyers at the Kota Centre here on Tuesday drew the attention of public. The lawyers of ‘Telangana’ and ‘Samaikyandhra’ presented their arguments at the end of which the ‘court’ ruled that Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president Chandrababu Naidu should withdraw his letter on Telangana.

Students of JNTU staged rasta roko at KLpuram. The students squatted on National Highway 49 blocking vehicular traffic. Similarly, the Visakhapatnam-Vizianagaram highway was blocked as court employees demonstrated in front of the District Court.

Hawkers took out a rally near Kota centre for Samaikyandhra. Teachers and students organised Vanta Varpu on the roads in Parvathipuram Agency. With this vehicular traffic was held up. Programmes were held as part of the agitation all over the district.
