Karimnagar: Led by Police Commissioner V B Kamalasan Reddy, the police officials conducted Naka Bandi (Total shut down) under Commissionerate limits in Karimnagar from 10 pm on Saturday till Sunday morning.

The police officials, divided into several groups, inspected all major centres under the Commissionerate limits and seized 30 two-wheelers, three autos and a car without proper documents. They have imposed a fine of Rs 4,300 on the owners of 23 vehicles and registering 33 cases under drunk and drive.

Speaking on the occasion, Police Commissioner Kamalasan Reddy said they are conducting sudden inspections to maintain law and order and to prevent anti-social activities.

He urged the people to inform the police immediately if they find any person moving suspiciously in their areas and also about those people who are misbehaving with women and encouraging anti-social activities.

Additional Commissioner of Police J Rama Rao, M Ravinder Reddy and C Prabhakar, Inspectors Hari Prasad, Sadanandam, Krishna Goud, Srinivas Reddy, Ramana Murthy, Gouse Baba, Prashanth Reddy and Srinivas were present along with 30 members of SIs and 500 members of police officials.
