Dist-level tourney begins in in Sircilla

Sircilla: District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar along with MP B Vinod Kumar has inaugurated the selections for district-level tournaments for students under 14 and 17 in Sircilla on Tuesday, organised by Government Junior Colleges and School Games Federation.

Speaking on the occasion, Collector Krishna Bhaskar said that the students must focus on sports also along with studies since sports will help in keeping their body both physically and mentally fit.

Besides they should bring laurels to the district and to the State by participating in various tournaments, he advised. The MP said that in the earlier days the youth use to like play cricket only. But the present generation youth are focusing on various types of games and sports.
