Sircilla stands 3rd in green drive, plants 80L saplings
The Rajanna Sircilla district stands in third position the list by completing 100 per cent of the target of planting 80 lakh saplings, set by the State government in the united Karimnagar under the third phase of Telanganaku Haritha Haram programme.

The district stands in third position in the State following Khammam and Warangal Rural districts in first and second positions respectively.
Following the guidelines of IT Minister K T Rama Rao and massive participation of public along with the initiation taken by District Collector D Krishna Bhaskar, the district has completed the target of plantation drive before the deadline.
Speaking on the occasion, the Collector D Krishna Bhaskar said that with coordination of the officials and the support extended by the people’s representatives along with the participation of large number of people, the district had achieved 100 per cent plantation.
With the same spirit and enthusiasm, everyone must take care of the planted saplings by taking necessary steps until each sapling grows into a tree. He congratulated all those, who were responsible for achieving the target of 100 per cent of the plantation drive.
District Joint Collector Yasmine Basha and District Revenue Officer Shyam Lal Prasad urged the officials and the people to continue the same spirit in giving protection to the planted saplings. They expected the same kind of support and coordination for completion of other schemes and projects that are underway in the district.
