TSRTC Vajra services from Karimnagar to Hyderabad flagged off
From now onwards people can travel from Karimnagar to Hyderabad from their doorstep with Vajra bus services, introduced by Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), said MLA Gangula Kamalakar.
Karimnagar: From now onwards people can travel from Karimnagar to Hyderabad from their doorstep with Vajra bus services, introduced by Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC), said MLA Gangula Kamalakar.
The MLA, along with MLC Naradasu Lakshman Rao, has inaugurated Vajra Mini A/c bus services at Telangana Chowk in Karimnagar on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Kamalakar said that the TSRTC allotted four Vajra Mini A/c buses, which will start from Jyothi Nagar to Dilsukhnagar covering Telangana chowk, Mankamma Thota, Bank Colony, Court Chowrastha, Mancherial Chowrastha, Karkhana Gadda, Ashok Nagar, Housing Board Colony, Lakshminagar, Kothirampur and NTR statue as route 1. The buses on route 2 will start from bus station, Telangana Chowk, Mankamma Thota, Ramnagar, Sapthagiri Colony, Bypass road, Bhagath Nagar, Ganesh Nagar, Kothirampur and NTR statue from 5 am to 6 am.
The buses will return to Karimnagar from Dilsukhnagar by 3 pm. The passengers must book the tickets through online at TSRTC portal and the ticket price is Rs 310 for adult for one journey from anywhere in Karimnagar to Hyderabad, the MLA explained.
The passengers will be benefitted by utilising this bus services, which will reduce auto fares, carrying luggage to longer distances along with many features that are provided in the buses for the convenience of the passengers.
Keeping the demand to start Vajra Mini A/c bus services from 6, 7, 8, 30 and 31 divisions also, the services would be started from these places also, he assured.
Deputy Mayor Guggila Ramesh, District Library Corporation Chairman Anugu Ravinder Reddy, corporator Y Sunil Rao and RTC officials were present along with others.
