Hanamkonda: Integrating basic policing with the modern technology is what the Police Department is aiming at, the Warangal Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu said.
“For effective implementation and monitoring of the crime and criminal tracking network system, it has become imminent for the establishment to integrate all critical components to offer police services at the next level,” he said, laying foundation stone for the model police station in Hanamkonda on Wednesday.
Referring to his plans to revamp three police stations – Hanamkonda, Hasanparthy and Narsampet - as model ones, the Commissioner said that efforts are being made to upgrade more police stations as the concept has gone down well with the people.
He said that aim is to create an atmosphere at the police stations so that people get confidence that their safety, security and justice is ensured. Besides boasting a corporate look, the model police stations will strive for speedy and transparent administration, he said.
Central zone DCP M Venugopal Rao, Hanamkonda ACP Muralidhar, inspector Sampath Rao, sub-inspectors Srinivas, Praveen Kumar and Ashok were among others present.
