Sunrise Power Blend Ingredients
1-1/2 cups halved strawber ries
2 ripe peaches pitted and quartered
1 cup non-fat yogurt
1/4 cup non-fat dry milk
3 tablespoon wheat bran or oat bran
2 tablespoon honey
1/4 cup chopped California Walnuts

Method
1. In blender, add all ingredients; blend until smooth and frothy.
2. Serving suggestion: Serve with one slice of toasted whole wheat bread topped with 1 tablespoon natural preserves.

Walnut Energy Bar
Ingredients

130 g Prune
40 g Maple syrup
100 g Roasted walnuts
80 g Oat meal
40 g Chinese wolfberry fruit or cranberry
20 g Pumpkin seeds
50 g Cacao nib
40 g Currants or raisin

California Walnuts, Prune, Pumpkin nuts for topping, as needed

Method

1. Process prune and Maple syrup in a food processor.
2. Keep 1 tablespoon full from the mixture for later use.
3. Chop roasted walnuts.
4. Add rest of the ingredients to 1. Mix them well.
5. Wrap the dough. Form 18cmx12cm size with a rolling pin.
6. Place the dough and top with walnuts, prune and pumpkin seeds. Bake over 20 min in a pre-heated oven.
7. Let them cool on top of a net.
8. Cut into 7 pieces
