Buoyed by the overwhelming success of his ‘EndhukuEndhuku’, a sentimental song on ‘Social Equality’, 13-year-old Master Pradyumna and Singer Rahul Shipligunj (Rangasthalam movie fame) launched “ThanuLekaNeeveLevu” an awareness song on girl child killing that serves as a clarion call for bringing about Gender Equality in the turbulent days the country is passing through.

Over 300 students with different backgrounds were present for the event at Narasimha Reddy Engineering College, Kompally, Hyderabad, organised by an Old Age and Child Welfare NGO Aashray Foundation and Pratham Creations.

Life skills trainer and coach Rahul Jain said that one of the biggest challenges and one that has to addressed in its proper perspective is gender inequality that is giving birth a tumultuous societal atmosphere, which tends to get hostile. This is despite the advancements that are being made in all spectrums."

BuddhavarapuAruna, founder-Chairman of Just Society hoped that the youngsters of today will help shape a better world order where in one can be free of social dogmas like gender inequality and atrocities against women and girl-child.
