Hyderabad: The sixth Ravi Matthai Memorial Lecture “Entrepreneurship at 50” was delivered by Vishwavir Ahuja, Managing Director & CEO of RBL Bank at Cyber Convention here.
Ahuja is an alumnus of Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad IIM-A).He has delivered a captivating speech on how RBL was transformed from a traditional regional bank to a new-age national Bank. The CEO touched upon key aspects of the Bank’s transformation by reorienting customers as hearth, employees as pillars, community as the cause and shareholder value as the focus.
As recipient of EY entrepreneur of the year 2016, he explained the nuances of entrepreneurship, the advantage of experience, maturity of thought and comfort of financial reserves vis-à-vis the challenges like inertia, health issues, responsibilities and the need to updated with the latest technological innovations.
Prof. Rakesh Basant, Dean of Alumni Affairs at IIMA expressed his happiness at the activities being undertaken by the Hyderabad chapter of the alumni association. A large number of alumni of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, government functionaries and leaders from industries attended.
