Football Olympian Hamid passes away at 85

Hyderabad: Indian football Olympian Syed Habibul Hassan (Hamid) passed away on Thursday at the age of 85. The Telangana Football Association (TFA) held a condolence meeting at its office to pay tribute.

A member of India’s 1960 Rome Olympics team, Hamid played for Hyderabad Sporting, Hyderabad Police, Mohammedan Sporting and South Central Railway. He is survived by a son and four daughters.
