Jio launched its landline connection under the Jio Fiber. Now With this Reliance Jio has launched a new service that enables you to answer landline calls on your mobile phone. Not only this but you can also make video calls from your fixed line number. The plans begin from ₹699, Jio Fiber broadband brings along a free landline connection. With this JioCall app, the users will be able to convert fixed-line connection smart by using the smartphone to make both video and audio calls.

The users need to download the JioCall which was earlier called Jio4Gvoice, the app from the Google Play Store and configure the 10-digit Jio fixed line number on the app.


However, this Jio service will only be available only to those users who either have a Jio sim card or they are already using Jio Fiber or JioFi connection. After opting for the 'FixedLine Profile' on your JioCall app, one can conveniently make or receive calls from a fixed-line number on the smartphone.

Jio users also get HD voice and video calling. In case your society is also there on the Jio network, the smartphone can also be used for intercom calling within the society. The JioCall app also allows you to use any JioFiber connected TV to make video and conference calls from home. Offering minimum internet speed of 100 Mbps for ₹699 per month, Jio launched its fibre-based broadband service last September. The Jio plans go up to ₹8,499, Jio Fiber comes bundled with free voice calls anywhere in the country, unlimited high-speed data along with a set-top box.
