Reliance Jio is expanding its 5G coverage in Indian cities at a fast pace. Within 4 months of its launch, Jio 5G has rolled out 5G to over 200 cities in 29 states and union territories and will cover more cities in the coming days. With the latest release in Hindupur, Madanapalle, Proddatur (Andhra Pradesh), Raigarh (Chhattisgarh), Talcher (Odisha), Patiala (Punjab), Alwar (Rajasthan), Mancherial (Telangana), Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Roorkee (Uttarakhand), Jio True 5G is now available in 236 cities in India.

Reliance Jio Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced that the telecom operator would complete its 5G rollout in every city and town in Uttar Pradesh within 10 months, by December 2023. "Jio will complete its rollout of 5G to cover every town and village in this state by December of 2023. That is in ten months from today," he said.
