1 lakh saplings to be planted

Jogipet: Additional Project Director of DRDO Srinivas said sarpaches and officers concerned should take the responsibility of protecting the saplings planted in Haritha Haram programme.
He spoke during a programme organised at mandal office of Andole on Wednesday. Addressing the sarpanches and panchayat secretaries, he said almost one lakh saplings would be planted in the district. He said 18 companies came forward to provide tree guards. MPDO Satyanarayana and others were present.
