2 jailed, 6 penalised for drunk driving in Kodad

Kodad Traffic SI Nagabhushanam on Monday informed that Kodad Second Class Magistrate has awarded one-day jail and also a penalty of Rs 2,000 to Boina Venkateshwarlu of Raigudem and R Laxman of Gudibanda villages for drunken driving.
Kodad (Suryapet): Kodad Traffic SI Nagabhushanam on Monday informed that Kodad Second Class Magistrate has awarded one-day jail and also a penalty of Rs 2,000 to Boina Venkateshwarlu of Raigudem and R Laxman of Gudibanda villages for drunken driving.
Similarly, a fine of Rs 2,000 was imposed on Sk Saida of Deshipalem, V Hari of Kodad, Madhu of Godralu and Nagaraju of Ratnavaram villages for drunk driving. They all were during a drive held in Kodad on Sunday night.
SI Nagabhushanam informed that the duo convicted sent to Huzurnagar sub-jail for one-day imprisonment and added that drunk driving was serious offence and those who violate would be jailed or imposed penalty or both.
