Wanaparthy: As many as 29 poor people suffering from various illnesses were provided financial aid by the State government through Chief Minister's Relief Fund on Thursday. Distributing the CMRF cheques, Agriculture Minister Singireddy Niranjan Reddy said that the State government apart from supporting the healthcare needs of people is also releasing funds liberally for poor ailing people towards their medical expenses.

"Irrespective of caste, class or religion, the State government has initiated a policy decision to support the healthcare needs of the people. As part of this, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao is liberally releasing funds for the poor patients suffering from various ailments and supporting them financially to meet the medical costs incurred. No State in the entire country is releasing funds under CMRF as liberally as Telangana. This clearly tells that we are giving highest priority to the healthcare needs of the public," said the Agriculture Minister, while handing over CMRF cheques to the beneficiaries at his camp office in Wanaparthy.
