65 percent of canal works of SRLIP completed: Smitha Sabharwal
Secretary of Chief Minister's Office (CMO) Smitha Sabharwal said that 65 per cent of canal constructions works of SRLIP were completed.
Khammam: Secretary of Chief Minister's Office (CMO) Smitha Sabharwal said that 65 per cent of canal constructions works of SRLIP were completed. She inspected the ongoing construction works of Sita Rama Lift Irrigation Project (SRLIP)in Bhadradri Kothagudem on Sunday.
She inspected the pump house works in the villages of BG Kothur and examined the canal construction works at Nagaram, Mulkalpally, V K Ramavaram, and Kamalapuram villages under Palvoncha Mandal. She also reviewed the progress of the ongoing construction works with the engineers.
Speaking to officers, she directed them to speed up works complete them within the stipulated time. She said all the pump house trial works should be completed before the February 2020. She also informed that the works were being monitored vis CCTVs from the Chief Minister's Office (CMO) in Hyderabad.
She said that the construction works of Sub stations were going as per schedule. She asked the officers to clear any issues regarding the project with the Collector immediately.
District Collector Rajath Kumar Sain, Officer C Muralidhar, Sub Collector Bhavesh Mishra, Superintendent of Engineer Nageswra Rao, and other officers were also present.
