Adilabad police Constable wins gold medal in marathon
Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warrier felicitated police constable Tumram Ramesh Kumar for winning gold medal in 100 meters marathon run held in New Delhi, organised by Globaresarc organisation, at district police station in Adilabad on Tuesday.
Adilabad: Superintendent of Police Vishnu S Warrier felicitated police constable Tumram Ramesh Kumar for winning gold medal in 100 meters marathon run held in New Delhi, organised by Globaresarc organisation, at district police station in Adilabad on Tuesday.
SP Vishnu said that Telangana State police constable Tumram Ramesh Kumar participated in marathon run on behalf of the police department and completed the run in 11 hours 21 minutes only and won first place and gold medal at national level. The tribal constable Ramesh Kumar, resident of Maruguda village of Jainath mandal in Adilabad district had joined the department in 2018 as TSSP section constable.
After identifying his talent as an athlete, the police department had provided training to him under Inspector Jairam at sports academy.
Police Association district president Penchula Venkateshwarlu, Special Branch Inspector Subbarao, SI Anwar and others were present.
