Nizamabad: All India Kisan Mazdoor Sabha (AIKMS) district president Nayakwadi Narsaiah demanded one-time farm loan waiver of Rs 1 lakh should be made immediately.

The leaders of AIKMS staged a dharna before the Collectorate here on Monday and submitted a memorandum to District Collector M Rammohan Rao.

Speaking on the occasion, Narsiah demanded issuance of pattadar passbooks to the farmers listed in Part – B and to implement Rythu Bandhu scheme to these farmers.

He asked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to open NCSF Sarangapur Sugar factory.

Stating that it is not good to promote dry crops, the AIKMS leader requested the government to provide all basic facilities for the cultivation of vegetables, fruits and orchards. He also asked to solve urea shortage and protect farmers from the exploitation of pesticide dealers and traders.

AIKMS district secretary Krishna Gouda, State leaders U Chinnaiah, Deva Swamy, Akula Papaiah, Salla Gangadhar, Vellulli Bhumaiah, Shankar Srinivas Rreddy, D Bansi, Gauru Mallaiah and others participated in the dharna.
