All set for Teachers MLC elections to be held on Friday in the district, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini.
Kothagudem: All set for Teachers MLC elections to be held on Friday in the district, said District Collector Rajat Kumar Saini.
On Thursday, he said 23 polling centres were arranged in the 23 mandals of the district and the polling would start at 8 am and continue till 4 pm.
He also informed that 26 sectorial officers, 26 APOs, 33 polling officers and 26 micro observers were appointed for the polling.
The Collector further added that a total of 2,043 voters, 1,322 from Kothagudem and 721 from Bhadrachalam would cast their votes on Friday's elections.
The official also added that necessary material distribution for polling was also completed in the district on Thursday.
Bhadrachalam Sub-Collector Bhavesh Mishra, Kothagudem Revenue Divisional Officer Swarna Latha monitored the material distribution programme, the Collector added.
