  • Alleges TRS leaders want to earn commissions on the new projects

Gadwal: Senior BJP leader DK Aruna on Sunday slammed the TRS government for leaving the pending projects where they are and going for new projects, wasting the public money.

She was addressing the media on her visit to Jurala and Guddem Doddi projects in Gadwal on Sunday.

She said during earlier governments, there had been many important projects that were launched in Gadwal district to meet the irrigation and drinking water needs of the people of this region.

However, soon after the TRS came to power it ignored the pending projects, depriving the poor farmers and general public of irrigation and drinking water.

"The TRS government is ignoring the earlier projects which are pending at various stages and instead it is taking up new projects wasting the public money.

The main reason for this government is not taking up the pending projects is that they want to earn commissions on the new projects. So far not a single paisa is released for the Guddem Doddi project and pending projects under Jurala reservoir."

"The CM has no love on Palamuru region but it is diverting all the resources to Kaleshwaram and ignoring the people of Palamuru. In the name of new projects, the Chief Minister is fooling the people of the district," alleged D.K. Aruna.

The BJP leader made allegations against the TRS chief saying that not a single work was taken up under the Nettampad reservoir during the past 5 years.

She came down heavily on the CM for changing the designs of Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation project and alleged that the Chief Minister is planning to divert the PRRLI waters to other regions and depriving the rightful share to the people of the district.

She alleged that even though it has been 6 years after the TRS government came to power, it has failed to complete the works under 99 package of PRRLI.

She demanded KCR to first complete the old pending projects in the district and the later take up the new projects.
