AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday faced the wrath of women over the distribution of Rs 10,000 financial assistance while he was campaigning for his party candidates.
AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi on Monday faced the wrath of women over the distribution of Rs 10,000 financial assistance while he was campaigning for his party candidates.
On Monday, Owaisi participated in the door-to-door campaign in his constituency to seek votes for the municipal corporation election.
A group of elderly women began protesting and raised slogans when the leaders approached them to support their party in the upcoming GHMC election. The women alleged that they have not received the assistance from the government during the floods earlier this month.
The Telangana government has announced Rs 10,000 compensation to each family whose house has been flooded with water due to the rains. The money distribution process has stalled with the election code coming into place last week.
The GHMC election will be held on December 1. There are around 150 divisions in the GHMC limits for which the election will be held.
