Atal Tinkering Lab inaugurated in Nalgonda
Sandeep School of Nalgonda town was selected for establishing Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) under the AtaI Innovation Mission (AIM) by NITI Aayog.
Nalgonda: Sandeep School of Nalgonda town was selected for establishing Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) under the AtaI Innovation Mission (AIM) by NITI Aayog. On Wednesday, the lab was inaugurated by NG College Principal Chandra Shekhar.
As per the information of school correspondent Satyanaryana Reddy, the objective of the programme was to foster curiosity, creativity and imagination in young minds and inculcate skills such as design mindset, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing etc. It is nothing but learning by doing and ATL will help develop the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) acumen in students and they would get a chance to work with practical aspect of theoretical education.
In this programme, K Sathi Reddy, Head, Department of Physics, Mahatma Gandhi University, retired lecturers Muthi Reddy and Lingaiah and students participated.
