Bandi Sanjay Kumar promises to fill 2L jobs, release annual job calendar
State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and IT Minister K T Ramarao for letting down 30 lakh unemployed youth in the State.
Sangareddy: State BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday lashed out at Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and IT Minister K T Ramarao for letting down 30 lakh unemployed youth in the State.
He addressed a huge public meeting after taking out ‘unemployed march’ in which thousands of party activists and unemployed took part.
Reiterating his party’s demand for a probe into the TSPSC question paper leak by a sitting high court judge, suspension of KTR from the Cabinet, and Rs 1 lakh compensation to unemployed, Bandi alleged that the CM remained a mute spectator when the future of 30 lakh unemployed youth was devastated by the question paper leak.
To further press the demand, he said, the party will organise an unemployed march with one lakh people in Hyderabad. Taking a jibe at KTR, Bandi said he becomes Home minister on Monday, Health minister on Tuesday, Finance minister on Wednesday, Irrigation minister on Friday, Education minister on Saturday, and retire to make merry on Sunday.
He said only five more months are left for the KCR government; BJP is sure to come to power in Telangana. “We will fill two lakh jobs as recommended by the Biswal Committee, and release a job calendar every year,” he promised to the unemployed.
Asserting that no section of society in Telangana is happy with the government, Bandi said employees, farmers, youth, unemployed and women were facing problems. As the CM realised that he could no longer play the Telangana sentiment card to come to power, he changed the party name from TRS to BRS and ran away from Telangana, the BJP leader stated.
He lashed out at the government in the wake of recent arrests of people linked to terror outfits in Hyderabad. “It is to the credit of saffron party members that Sangareddy is free from such menace. Bandi asked youth to take part in large numbers in the Hindu Ekta Yatra to be held on May 14 in Karimnagar.
Earlier, former MP Viajayshanthi termed KCR ‘useless’, and his government hopeless, making youth in State remain helpless. She said the CM constructed the new Secretariat for himself. ”There is no entry for MLAs of the Opposition into it. She asked why the cost of Secretariat rose from Rs 400 crore to Rs 1,600 crore.
Dubbaka MLA Raghunandan Rao took a dig at Health Minister T Harish Rao and KTR for running away on foreign jaunts when the party holds the Unemployed March in Sangareddy. He said CM promised to regularise contract employees in the State, but only hoodwinked people to grab power with false promises.
Though the combined Medak district has big industries, people of Telangana are getting only class IV job opportunities, Rao said. He assured youth to implement GO 610 and create job opportunities for the locals.
