Bar dancer stripped and beaten up in Hyderabad

A dancer at a prominent bar in Begumpet was allegedly stripped and beaten up by five people including four girls on Friday night.
Based on the complaint of the dancer Harini, the Punjagutta police registered a case and began an investigation. The woman who came to Hyderabad for a chance movie had begun working in a dance bar due to financial constraints.
She alleged that the owners of the bar used to force her to fulfil the sexual favours of the customers for which she could get Rs 10,000. She continued to say that a few people developed grudge on her and used to harass her over phone and also injured her with blades while dancing in the bar.
"I completed my work and was returning home around 1 am when the girls intercepted me and attacked," said the woman.
She also said that the police assured to nab all the five and initiate action against them.
