Miryalguda (Nalgonda): A woman identified as Saidamma, who meted out a living by begging at Miryalguda Bus Stand for the last 30-year, has donated Rs 4,000 financial aid to agitating RTC workers in Miryalguda on Sunday.
According to sources, Saidamma of Lavudi Thanda of Miryalguda mandal was begging at Miryalguda bus stand for the past 30 years and was well acquainted with the RTC staff of Miryalguda depot.
She said that after she came to know the plight of the striking workers and their family members she decided to do something good for them.
She discussed the situation with her family members and decided to hand over her savings which was Rs 4, 000 to RTC JAC leader Srinivas in the presence of RTC workers .
