BJP will get 280 MP seats: Yeddyurappa
Former Chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yeddyurappa said that BJP would get 280 MP seats in Lok Sabha elections and Narender Modi would be the Prime Minister for next five years.
Tandur: Former Chief Minister of Karnataka BS Yeddyurappa said that BJP would get 280 MP seats in Lok Sabha elections and Narender Modi would be the Prime Minister for next five years.
He visited the town for the darshan of 'Sri Bhavigi Bhadreshwara Swamy' temple on Wednesday. The former CM of Karnataka offered special prayers to the Lord.
Later, speaking to the media, Yeddyurappa said that the trend shows that BJP would retain power again, despite several conspiracies by the opposition parties.
"As many as 20 MLAs in Karnataka are going to join BJP soon and BJP candidate will become Chief Minister again." BJP would win in the by-election at Chilcholi, he hoped.
People of Karnataka are vexed up with the coalition government and development in the state has come to halt, he criticised. From, here he left for Chincholi to participate in poll campaign. The election will be held on May 19.
