Both TRS, BJP cheated people: Congress
Prime Minister Narendra Modi cheated the people by giving a false promise of depositing Rs 15 lakhs into their bank accounts by bringing out all the black money, criticised TPCC official spokesperson Komatireddy Narender Reddy.
Karimnagar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi cheated the people by giving a false promise of depositing Rs 15 lakhs into their bank accounts by bringing out all the black money, criticised TPCC official spokesperson Komatireddy Narender Reddy.
Speaking with the media here at Prathima Complex on Wednesday, Narender Reddy said that almost all the people across the country had suffered a lot due to Modi's several useless reforms like demonetisation, implementation. 'During the time of demonetisation, people faced serious problems in taking their money from banks and had to stand in long queues in front of the ATMs for hours together leaving their daily jobs.'
Komatireddy alleged that instead of bringing out the black money, Modi introduced Rs 2,000 note for the rich people to hide their money easily and to make their cash into black. People should question the BJP leaders about this whenever they come to ask for the votes, he asked the people.
TRS chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao deceived youth and unemployed people with his mesmerising words and false promises of providing one lakh jobs but failed to fulfil it till date, he pointed out.
Narender Reddy further said that there are about 6,000 vacant posts in revenue department and several thousands in various government departments. But the TRS is not taking initiation for filling these vacancies. He demanded the TRS leaders to explain the reason for not doing so.
The Congress leader said that instead of filling vacant posts, the CM is making wrong allegations against revenue employees and is suspending them from jobs. "Due to insufficient staff, one revenue employee is forced to do the work of at least seven employees and facing stress. Despite doing the additional work and taking stress, the revenue staff are getting suspension orders and corruption allegations as gifts," he lamented.
Komatireddy alleged that the TRS is trying to suppress the voice of Opposition by encouraging defections. But it had forgot that Congress is like an ocean. If one drop is removed, a bucket full of water will be added immediately. If the TRS takes one leader from Congress into their fold, hundreds will join the Congress, he said. He pointed out that many leaders of the TRS are joining other parties.
Komatireddy warned the public that if they elect TRS candidates in the coming LS elections, their confidence will increase and will not implement any schemes and release funds for the development of the region and will think that no one will question them.
He requested the people to elect Congress candidates in the coming LS elections. Congress has a great history and striving hard for the upliftment of weaker sections across the country. In the election manifesto, Congress promised to sanction Rs 6,000 per month for the families, which have a low income of Rs 12,000 per month.
It is the Congress and Sonia Gandhi, who gave separate Telangana State but the TRS is claiming the credit for it. But people know the facts and must teach the TRS a fitting lesson, Komatireddy Narender Reddy requested the public.
Congress leaders Ravi, Khajuiddin, Mithun Chakravarthy, Vikram, Ahmed, Surendar, Krishna were present in the press meet along with others.
