Burglars have made away with valuables worth Rs 11.2 lakh after breaking into a house at Kamalanagar under Medipally police station limits on Tuesday night.
The miscreants have decamped with gold ornaments weighing 20 tolas and Rs 3.5 lakh in cash totalling worth Rs 11.20 lakh. The police registered a case and are looking into the CCTV footage installed in the area.
On Sunday, the Rachakonda police arrested two burglars who broke into a house at Adibatla and made away with jewellery. The police recovered 7.5 tola gold and 20 tola silver ornaments from them.
They were identified as V Shiva Sai (24) of Miyapur and P Srinivas (28) of Turkayamjal.
