Candidates giving red-carpet welcome to migrated voters

Karimnagar: As the Lok Sabha elections are only few days away, candidates are working hard to reach out to every single voter in their constituency. Even they don't want to forget the people who have left the native place in search of livelihood in other cities but have their votes in the constituency.

Since every vote counts in the win and defeat of candidates, they are attracting such people promising all facilities so that they can cast their votes in their favour of the sponsoring candidate.

In such a situation, the leaders are planning to bring the voters back to their native places. Arrangements are already made to bring them back so that they can take part in the elections. According to one leader, most of the north Telangana people are working in Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Bombay, Hyderabad, Nagpur and Chandrapur. They are the registered voters in their hometown are interested in coming back to their native place to participate in the elections.

The demand for such voters can gauged by the fact that tickets are not available as candidates and individual voters have booked the tickets in advance and buses and trains are running jam-packed. Therefore, seats are not available in trains or buses. Even rental vehicles are not available as all vehicles are being utilized for election campaigns.

To attract the voters living in other places, candidates have offered attractive packages.

Besides travel expenses, two to three thousand rupees will be given to the voters in Jagityal Dharmapuri, Nizamabad, Kamareddy, Siricilla, Vemulawada and Warangal constituencies.

Who will refuse the offer? The sponsor party will get votes and the voters will get the opportunity to spend some time with their families and friends living their native place.
