MLA Dr M Anand directed the Agriculture officers to take steps to contain sales of spurious seeds and fertilisers. He reviewed a meeting with the officers, here at camp office on Monday.
Vikarabad: MLA Dr M Anand directed the Agriculture officers to take steps to contain sales of spurious seeds and fertilisers. He reviewed a meeting with the officers, here at camp office on Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, he told the officials concerned to ensure the Rythu Bandu and Rythu Beema to reach farmers. The MLA said the officials to suggest alternative crops to the farmers as the already sown seeds have been dried up due to scanty rainfall.
Stressing on making availability of subsidised seed to the farmers, he told the officials to work along with farmers' coordination samithis. He directed the officials to inspect the fertiliser shops to contain spurious products and close down the shops without licenses. Agriculture officer Gopal, ADA Vinod Kumar, mandal level agriculture officers were present.
