Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner Anjani Kumar on Friday imposed Prohibitory Orders in and around Telangana and Andhra Pradesh Secretariats under Saifabad police station limits up to three kilometres from Secretariat building perimeter.

According to the orders, holding of any public meeting, assembly of five or more persons, carrying firearms, banners, placards, lathis, spears, swords, sticks, brickbats, shouting of slogans, making of speeches, processions and demonstration and picketing or dharnas within the area specified in the schedule to the issued order without a written permission are not allowed.

The orders shall be in force with effect from 6 am on July 23 and shall remain in force for a period of two months that is up to 6 am on September 22 (both days inclusive), unless withdrawn earlier. Any person violating the order shall be liable for punishment.
