Civic general body meeting held in Kagaznagar
Councillor Vedavathi chided the officials concerned for not sanctioning pensions to the eligible candidates, who have been visiting the office for the past three years.
Kagaznagar: Councillor Vedavathi chided the officials concerned for not sanctioning pensions to the eligible candidates, who have been visiting the office for the past three years.
She alleged that despite government orders to give loans to all the eligible, the authorities are negligent in doing their duty, while speaking at a municipal general body meeting at Kagaznagar municipal office on Friday.
Kagaznagar Municipal Chairperson Vidyavathi chaired the meeting. The governing body expressed dissatisfaction over the failure in utilising the funds to develop the town. Heated discussions were held in the meeting why they coudn't developed the town as expected.
A councillor requested the officials to shift the dumping yard from Sarsilk to other place as she is getting frequent complaints from the ward people.
