Vikarabad: District Collector Ayesha Masrat Khanam and SP Narayana inspected the counting halls and strong rooms in the wake of municipal elections in Vikarabad, Tandur, Kodangal and Pargi on Tuesday.
The collector said that all arrangements are in place for the elections to be held on January 22. "Polling staff have been trained. Ballot printing is in progress. Voter slips will be distributed from January 16. Transparency will be maintained in the election process. People should utilize their voting right," she added. RDOs Upender Reddy, Venu Madhav Rao and others were present.
