Collector Hanumantha Rao hails teachers role in everyone's life
District Collector Hanumantha Rao said teachers shape the future of children, though parents give them life. Speaking at the celebrations of Teacher’s Day, the Collector said the teachers occupy an important place in everyone’s life.
Sangareddy: District Collector Hanumantha Rao said teachers shape the future of children, though parents give them life. Speaking at the celebrations of Teacher's Day, the Collector said the teachers occupy an important place in everyone's life.
He recollected his teachers who inspired him to excel in studies. He exhorted teachers to train children to be able to compete in the tough competition of present day. He also stressed upon planting of saplings on the school premises and advised them to take up cleaning and repairing of their school buildings.
ZP Chairperson Manju Shri said teachers were great people who pave the way for the future of children. She said teachers play major role in children's life to reach greater heights.
DRO Radhika Ramani said it was a happy moment to felicitate teachers on this occasion. It was like thanking them for the valuable contribution in success of all, she added.
Later, 61 teachers were felicitated on the occasion. The Collector and the ZP Chairperson gave away 34 laptops to schools, given by Shikshana Foundation, Telangana. DEO Vijayalaxmi, DPO Venkateshwarlu, representatives of teachers unions and teachers were present.
