Congress, CPM lay siege to MLA's camp office
Leaders of the striking RTC Employees Joint Action Committee (JAC) along with leaders of Congress and CPI(M) besides those of INTUC and CITU, on Monday laid siege to the camp office of local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy here, to press the ‘just’ demands of the employees.

In the representation submitted to him later, the leaders of JAC and parties urged Reddy to cooperate in getting their demands communicated to the government. The MLA responded positively.
Among the leaders present at the camp office were: INTUC district unit president Narsimha Reddy, CITU district general secretary Narasimha Reddy, JAC convener/co-conveners K Ramesh, B S Raju, Narsimha, G Krishna, B Venkatesh, K Ambadas, Namdev, Sunita, Jahangir, Anuradha and Ramalakshmi, leaders of the supervisors union and the garage workers union.
