Corona update: 472 fresh positive cases, 2 new deaths in Telangana

The total coronavirus tally in Telangana reached 2,84,863 with fresh 472 positive cases and the fatalities touched 1,531 with two new deaths on Saturday.
The total coronavirus tally in Telangana reached 2,84,863 with fresh 472 positive cases and the fatalities touched 1,531 with two new deaths on Saturday. Meanwhile, the total recoveries jumped to 2,76,753 with the recovery of 509 new persons in a single day. At present, there are 6,579 active cases out of which 4,426 are in home or institutional isolation.
Between Friday and Saturday, around 37,347 tests were conducted which include 16,432 on primary contacts and 4,481 on secondary contacts. So far, 67,23,710 tests have been conducted in the state since the pandemic.
Meanwhile, the positive cases reported in the state include 106 from GHMC, 45 from Medchal Malkajgiri, 44 from Rangareddy, 19 from Mancherial, 18 from Warangal Urban, 17 each from Siddipet and Karimnagar, 16 from Khammam, 15 from Bhadradri Kothagudem, 13 from Yadadri Bhongir, 12 from Mahabubabad, 10 each from Nizamabad and Peddapalli, 9 from Suryapet, 8 each from Sangareddy, Rajanna Sircilla and Jagtial, 7 each from Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Warangal Rural, Medak, Adilabad and Mulugu, 6 each from Jogulamba Gadwal, Kamareddy and Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, 4 from Wanaparthy, 3 from Vikarabad, 2 each from Jangaon and Komarambheem Asifabad, one from Narayanpet.
