Coronavirus in Telangana: Four new positive cases related to migrants reported in Mancherial

As many as four new coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Mancherial district on Tuesday.

Hyderabad: As many as four new coronavirus positive cases have been reported in Mancherial district on Tuesday. With this, the number of positive cases in Mancherial has gone up to 31where Majority of cases have been from the migrants who have come from different parts of the country. Most of the cases belong to family members of these migrants. The authorities have shifted the patients to Gandhi Hospital in the city.

On the other hand, the state has recorded 71new cases on Tuesday taking the total tally to 1991 with 650 active cases and 57 deaths. Out of 71 new cases, GHMC recorded 38, Ranga Reddy 7, Medchal 6, one each in Suryapet, Nalgonda, Vikarabad and Narayanpet, Migrants 12, foreign evacuees 4 and one from Maharashtra.

Meanwhile, the high-level meeting chaired by Telangana chief minister will take place today to take a decision overextension of lockdown and some more relaxations in the reopening of the certain business establishments. The meeting will begin at 2 pm to review the enforcement of lockdown and the necessary measures to be taken to maintain social distance at all business establishments.
