CPI extends solidarity to RTC workers

Siddipet: CPI state secretary Chada Venkata Reddy extended solidarity to RTC workers staging protest in front of RTC Depot here on Friday.

He criticised Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao for pushing Telangana into debts and for stating workers as the reason for the RTC to be in losses. He questioned KCR if it's possible for him to suppress unions of workers and students. "The responsibility of restoring RTC lies with KCR," he added.

CPI secretariat members Takkillapalli Srinivas Rao, state control commission members Yedla Ram Reddy, AITUC district secretary Maccha Srinivas, trade union leaders Mallesh, Ashok, Shankar and others were present on the occasion.
