DCM van gutted in fire

Hakkimpet: In a fire accident on road, a vehicle from Gadwal division got engulfed in fire in Hakimpet area on Thursday. A mini DCM driven by Mohammad Nayab, which was being used to transport vegetables, unloaded in Bowenpally and started to Shamirpet for loading again.

Due to heating of the vehicle engine, suddenly fire struck the vehicle. Seeing the fire, Nayab got down from the vehicle. As the accident took place near Army and Air force camps, the army men arrived immediately and tried to control the fire with the whatever resources they had. Later, after a call, a fire tender arrived and brought the fire into control.
