Deer falls in lake in Hyderabad, rescued

A deer which accidentally fell into Nallagandla lake has been rescued by the GHMC officials this morning. The deer was handed over to forest department, said GHMC EVDM director Viswajit Kampati.
The GHMC officials who noticed the deer stuck in a sand pit and rescued. According to the officials, the animal got stuck in the pit when it came to quench its thirst.
"As there was no proper fencing to the lake, the deer may have ventured into the water," an official said.
