Depression drives engineering student to commit suicide in Mancherial

Depressed over getting low marks, an engineering second-year student committed suicide on here at Chintapalli village of Dandepalli mandal in Mancherial.

Sai Nikhil (21), a second-year engineering student at an engineering college in Karimnagar went missing from home on September 11. He was found unconscious on the same day in the farm by villagers and shifted to a nearby hospital.

However, the hospital asked to shift him a hospital in Hyderabad after the victim's health condition deteriorated. He was dead in the mid-way.

It is learned that Sai Nikhil was upset over getting low marks in the semester exams.
