Osmania University: Commemorating 63rd death anniversary, activists of AISF led by Kampalli Srinivas paid floral tributes to Dr BR Ambedkar in front of Arts College on Friday.
Professor Chinta Ganesh and Professor Gali Vinod Kumar participated in the programme as the chief guests.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Chinta Ganesh lauded the services of Dr BR Ambedkar for welfare of downtrodden sections of the society.
He urged students to follow his principles and work for fulfilment of his aspirations. He advised students to read his writings and take him as inspiration to protect Indian constitution.
AISF state leader RN Shankar, speaking on the occasion, called upon students to fight atrocities against dalit, minority and tribal people.
