Mancherial: A farmer handed over a sick peacock to the forest officials, who found it on Friday in his fields at Vempalli village of Hajipur mandal in Mancherial district.
The farmer, Gali Tirupathi, went to his fields in the early hours of Friday and found a peacock down with ill. He immediately informed to the local MPTC Dega Bapu, who in turn informed the forest officials. The officials rushed to the village and took the peacock to provide treatment. They appreciated the farmers and MPTC in this regard.
