Medaram (Mulugu): Based on past experience, the arrangements would be made for the comfort of devotees turning to Sammakka Saralamma jatara at Medaram, said RV Karnan, who took charge as the in-charge Collector of Mulugu district.
It may be mentioned here that the government gave full additional charge (FAC) to Khammam District Collector Karnan to oversee the arrangements of Medaram jatara. Expert swimmers would be deployed near Jampanna vagu besides deputing an irrigation official at each bathing ghat, he said.
"In addition to the staff of the DM&HO, the personnel from the Red Cross Society would also take part in the healthcare services," Karnan said. Referring to the parking areas, Karnan said that work on lighting arrangement has been speed up.
