Four critically hurt after their car falls into roadside ditch in Wanaparthy

Wanaparthy: Four persons suffered severe injuries when the speeding car they were travelling in, while overtaking a lorry lost control, hit a divider and fell into a pit on National Highway 44 in Pebbair mandal of Wanaparthy district on Wednesday.

According to Pebbair Sub-Inspector Vijay Kumar, the condition of the car driver, among the four injured, is critical. The driver and the injured were shifted to Kurnool hospital for treatment. "The car had tumbled two to three times before hitting a roadside tree and finally falling into the ditch.

All the four passengers in the car were severely injured and were rescued by the locals," informed the SI.
