Ramagundam: Two-wheeler and four-wheeler riders should regularly check their vehicles to know the emission standard. As an aware citizen, we should not cross the permissible limits and thus helping to achieve this year's theme "Beat Air Pollution", said Dr PP Kulkarni, ED-NTPC Ramagundam and Telangana, while inaugurating the free vehicle emission check-up camp at Jyothika Club of NTPC-Ramagundam township from Tuesday.

Organised as part of the World Environment Month celebration, the camp was conducted by M/s Sky Pollution Checking Centre, Jyothinagar, an RTA approved agency. On the opening day, a total of 305 vehicles (95 four-wheelers and 210 two-wheelers) were checked and issued pollution check-up certificates.
