GBPL Cricket Tournament from Feb 13

Marking the 284th birth anniversary of Santh Sevalal Maharaj, the Gor Banjara Premier League Sports Society is planning to organise Season-5 GBPL Cricket Tournament from February 13 in the district.
Mahbubnagar: Marking the 284th birth anniversary of Santh Sevalal Maharaj, the Gor Banjara Premier League Sports Society is planning to organise Season-5 GBPL Cricket Tournament from February 13 in the district.
As part of this, the members of GBPL members met Excise, Sports and Youth Welfare Minister V Srinivas Goud on Friday at his residence in Hyderabad and released a broacher on the cricket tournament.
According to orgnisers, the GBPL seasons-5 tournament is inviting teams belonging to only the Adivasi, Lambada, Yerukala and Chenchu communities to take part in the tournament. Interested teams can register with the GBPL Sports Society from February 4-10 and they can contact the following members, Charan Naik on 9010322645, Chatrapati on 6301399507, Chander Rathod on 9848830250 and Kishan Pawar on 9032860912.
The winner's team will be given a cash prize of Rs 100,155, while the runners up team will be given a cash prize of Rs 50,155, informed GBPL orgnaisers Ramavath Ravi Rathod and Bavaji Rang Nayak. Others who participated in the programme include Patlavath Bottu Venkat Nayak, Korra Vinesh and Jagadeesh Nayak.
