Mahbubnagar: Alleging that the State government is playing with the lives of unemployed youth by not releasing subsidised loans for taking up self-employment, BC Sena State Secretary Burugupally Krishna Yadav said that the TRS government is not serious in implementing self-employment schemes or providing jobs for the youth across the State.

Speaking at a programme in Jadcherla on Thursday, he reminded that the TRS had given many promises like government jobs, better livelihood to the youth in the new State during Telangana agitation, but after separate State formation, it forgot all its promises. Even though the government did come out with a few self-employment schemes for the youth, but all those, who applied, didn't got the benefits of these schemes, the BC leader pointed out. As many as 5.75 lakh BC unemployed youth had applied for various self-employed government schemes in 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018. Out of these, only 19,000 have received a cheque of Rs 50,000, that too during election period and once the elections were over, the government had completely forgotten them, he alleged.

This clearly shows that the TRS government is not serious to give jobs to the youth and only using them as vote bank, he criticized. The BC leader demanded that the government should immediately release pending loan subsidies to all the eligible candidates and provide better self-employment opportunities. Or else agitations will be launched across the State and will lay seize to district Collectorates, he warned.

Krishna Yadav also alleged that the TRS government is not serious about BC communities' welfare in the State. Though the tenure of BC Commission has expired a year ago, the government has not yet set up a new committee for the BC commission, he pointed out.

BC Sena district chief secretary Balaswamy, district secretary Chennaiah, Jadcherla constituency secretary Shekar, BC Mandal President Swamy, Gollapally Yadaiah, Shiva and others participated in the programme.
