Government school staff in Gadwal served memos for locking child inside school

In a case of negligence, three teachers and an attender working at government primary school in Alampur of Gadwal district were served memos by the Mandal Education Officer for locking Class 1 girl inside the school.
The staff without noticing the girl inside the school locked the gate believing that all the students left the school on June 27. However, a villager passing by the school noticed Swapna crying out of fear at the gate. He then called the school headmaster to come to school and unlock the gate.
The issue was taken to the MEO who issued memos to the staff for being careless and warned not to repeat such acts in future.
