Heat wave runs through Telangana, Adilabad worst affected at 45.3 degrees

Parts of Adilabad, Komarambheem, Nirmal, Mancherial, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Peddapalle, Kamareddy, Rajanna Sircilla, and Karimnagar likely to suffer a heat wave.
The temperature in Adilabad soared to 45.3 degree Celsius, said data released by the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD).
The temperature in various parts of the state saw a steady rise:
1. Nizamabad district: 43.8 degrees
2. Badrachalam: 42.6 degrees
3. Hyderabad: 40.8 degrees
4. Nalgonda: 43.2 degrees
5. Medak: 42.8 degrees
6. Hanamkonda: 41.4 degrees
7. Ramagundam: 42.6
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) issued an advisory, asking citizens of the state capital to protect themselves from the heat and not venture out in the afternoon.
